Conservative media pundit Ann Coulter made the outrageous claim about presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy on his podcast.

The political commentator spoke with the Republican candidate about nationalism and fundamentals of American Identity.

Coulter, 62, made the shocking remark that she would not back him for the GOP nomination because "you're an Indian" on his podcast 'The Truth.'

"I agreed with many many things you said during — in fact, probably more than most other candidates — when you were running for president...but I still would not have voted for you, because you're an Indian," she stated.

The 62-year-old doubled-down on her statement, explaining that she would only vote for presidential candidates who are WASPs, which stands for White Anglo-Saxon Protestants.

"There is a core national identity that is the identity of the WASP," she began. "That doesn't mean we can't take anyone else in, a Sri Lankan, or a Japanese...or an Indian, but the core around which the nation's values are formed is the WASP."

Coulter continued: "We've never had a president who didn't have at least partial English ancestry," adding that if his children married someone from the Daughters of the American Revolution she would "definitely" vote for them.

A shocked Ramaswamy, 38, posted their conversation on Twitter, now known as X, on Wednesday.

"Ann Coulter told me flat-out to my face that she couldn't vote for me because you're Indian," even though she agreed with me more than other candidates," he tweeted.

Ohio voters on Tuesday are choosing whether to enshrine abortion rights into the state's constitution, in what may well be a bellwether on an issue likely to dominate next year's US presidential race.

"I disagree with her but respect she has the guts to speak her mind. It was a riveting hour. The TRUTH Podcast is back," he wrote.

"I was initially shocked, and for a split second, enraged, he told the 'New York Post' Thursday. "But after that I was just deeply curious, and it was a fascinating conversation."
