Ben Affleck, Ex Jennifer Garner Spotted Together With Kids Violet And Sam On Mother's Day Weekend
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner continue to co-parent their children with ease and even spent the Mother's Day weekend together.
Affleck, 51, and Garner, 52, have remained amicable following their divorce in 2018. The exes were spotted on Saturday, a day before Mother's Day, with their eldest daughter Violet, 18, and only son, Samuel, 12. Their second child, Seraphina, who recently introduced themselves as Fin, was noticeably missing during the family outing.
In the clip obtained by The Hollywood Fix, both Garner and Violet were pushing their bikes, presumably toward a parking lot. The mother and daughter were later seen walking hand in hand without their bikes and entering the Santa Monica Family YMCA building. After a few minutes, Affleck was caught on camera exiting the building and heading toward his parked vehicle.
Samuel, Violet and Garner were also seen walking behind Affleck, heading in a different direction. Samuel was holding a basketball and carrying a black backpack as he walked with his mom and sister.
The sighting received praise from the netizens, who were impressed by how Garner and Affleck continue to be there for their kids years after they parted ways.
"They're all just one big happy family! Ben is one lucky dude," one commented.
Another added, "Ben Affleck with family is peace."
"This is great family together," a third person opined.
In 2021, Affleck gave his ex-wife a shoutout on social media to mark Mother's Day. He shared a post on his Instagram account and expressed how glad he was that the "Yes Day" actress was the mother of his children.
"So happy to share these kids with you. Luckiest parents in the world. Thanks for all the good you do," Affleck wrote, Entertainment Tonight reported. "Happy Mother's Day. Love, their Dad."
The outlet, however, noted that the post had been deleted or made private.
Affleck reconciled with Jennifer Lopez in 2021, nearly two decades after they called off their engagement. They tied the knot a year later. Affleck, Lopez and Garner have been spotted with their kids.
However, an unnamed source previously said that the "Batman" actor was more relaxed around his ex-wife.
"He seems so relaxed and, well, happy when he's with Jen, but with J. Lo, he seems tense, even angry at times," the source told Life & Style.
"Ben put Jen through hell when they were together, but they've worked past all of that. There's been a lot of healing, and they may be closer now -- as friends -- than they were when they were a couple."
