Chilli, who is currently dating 'Boy Meets World' actor Matthew Lawrence, appeared on the Fox Soul talk show "Portia," where the host asked her about her previous fear of tying the knot.

"I do not," the singer, born Rozonda Ocielian Thomas, answered.

The TLC member continued: "I don't have any fear at all when it comes to him. It is just the way he is as a man. You know, he's just he's a good guy. He has an amazing heart and I mean he checks off all of my lists except for a few ... I don't know yet to get married."

Chilli and her ex-boyfriend Usher dated from 2001 to 2004. The pair, who were both signed to LaFace Records while they were dating, have never spoken out about why they separated despite rumor's of Usher's suspected unfaithfulness, notably sung about on his multi-platinum 2004 album.

Chilli, 53, dispelled speculations that Usher cheated on her and said his Grammy Award-winning album, "Confessions," was not about her.

"I was with him at the studio that whole time," she said.

During an interview with PEOPLE, Usher revealed how he "wanted to marry" Chilli.

"I was a young man, and she had very specific rules that didn't work for me," Usher, 45, said. "We were missing each other. I really did want to have a different type of relationship where she was there with me, and she couldn't be. She didn't believe that I was actually in love with her as much as I was."
