Tucker Carlson Video Explaining Joe Biden's 'Pedo Peter' Nickname Resurfaces Amid Ashley's Diary Confession
An old video about Joe Biden's "Pedo Peter" nickname has resurfaced online.
The U.S. President has been called "pedo" on social media after his daughter Ashley Biden reportedly confirmed that the diary containing a passage about "probably not appropriate" showers with her father went viral online. Following the trend, Tucker Carlson's video from July 2022 explaining Biden's "Pedo Peter" nickname resurfaced.
In the clip, the American Republican TV host and political commentator attempts to explain the moniker. According to him, Biden's family referred to him as "Pedo Peter" due to the photos of him "kissing his granddaughter on the lips multiple times."

"In February of 2020, Joe Biden was speaking to a campaign event in Iowa, he said his daughter told him not to kiss her in public, but he said his granddaughter was quite different," Tucker says in the video before it cuts to the event where Biden is talking to a crowd with his granddaughter.
"But granddaughters not only love their dads, their grandpaps are like them, and that's the great thing. Thank you, baby. Thanks," Biden says before giving his granddaughter a peck on the lips.
Carlson adds that there was a reason why the FBI wanted to get their hands on Ashley's diary "very badly." He claims it was because "it's going to arrest people in order to keep that from becoming public."
However, Ashley, Biden's daughter with wife Dr. Jill Biden, confirmed that her "personal journal can be viewed online" in a letter addressed to a New York judge in April. Fact-checking site Snopes got a copy of Ashley's purported diary, and on one page, she wrote about being "hyper-sexualized" at a "young age."
Meanwhile, another social media user shared a montage of Biden posing alongside young children from different events. In some clips, he pulls them toward him, and in others, he touches their hair or face. There are also instances when he kisses them.
Biden has been open about his love for kids and how close he is to his grandchildren. In his remarks on April 27, 2023, on "Take Your Children to Work Day," he said he talks to his grandkids every day.
"The best part of it all, I have six grandchildren. And I'm crazy about them. And I speak to them every single day. Not a joke," he said.
"Matter of fact, I just got finished going through the calls. And only one of them answered the phone. (Laughter.) But at least I got to leave a message."
In another speech, the POTUS shared that he worked on having a close bond with his granddaughters.
"I have -- the great thing about granddaughters is they're crazy about their grandfather. (Laughter.) I've worked on it from the very -- you think I'm joking -- I worked on it from the beginning," he said.
