Intended Victim Stabs Suspect Multiple Times During Assault As Random Attacks In NYC Continue To Skyrocket
The city of New York has been grappling with a sudden rise in random assaults in the streets. This time, the intended victim wouldn't go down without a fight.
A 37-year-old man in Queens planned to ambush a couple walking their dog near 49th and Broadway in Woodside at around 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, but got more than he bargained for.
Seen tossing his jacket aside, the attacker creeped up on the couple from behind. The victim, seen in the stripes, ducked the attack and brought the assailant to the ground, stabbing him multiple times.

In footage obtained by The Daily Mail, the intended victim is seen putting the attacker into a headlock before pummeling him with more punches, to which the woman alongside him joined in on.
The attacker tried desperately to escape without success. The couple continued to hold him down, drag him, and kick him, dragging the dog along during the retaliation.
Once the altercation began to dissipate, the attacker is seen stepping toward a security camera, showing a bloody wound just near the crown of his head, per the New York Post. Several bystanders then managed to step between the couple and the attacker.
According to the New York City Police Department, the attacker was taken to Elmhurst Hospital with multiple stab wounds. At that time, he was in stable condition. No arrests have been made in connection to the attack, however police are currently investigating, as sources at the news outlet say the NYPD is looking for the couple.
Residents in New York City remain on high-alert following an unknown string of unprovoked, violent attacks at the hands of random bystanders.
