Melania Trump will continue to play a significant role when it comes to decision-making in her son Barron's life, according to a source.

Barron turned 18 in March and will be going to college soon. He graduated from Oxbridge Academy on Friday with his mom, Melania, and dad, Donald Trump, present to witness his milestone. An unnamed insider claimed that Melania would not let her only son be out of her sight anytime soon.

"Melania will keep her hand on Barron's future just as much going forward as she has throughout his early and current school years," the insider told People.

"He is her world. She is proud of him, and she is the primary decision maker on Barron and his future."

The former first lady is reportedly eager to guide her son. However, Melania also wants her child to pursue the things he wants.

"He is still young and has a lot in front of him," the source added. "She wants him to be happy and settled in his future endeavors. She wants him to pursue what he wants to do. He is smart and has his own opinions, but they are still being shaped."

Melania is a protective mom to Barron. A close associate of the former FLOTUS said she enveloped Barron in a "tight bubble" within their home in Palm Beach amid her husband Donald's legal battles.

The report about Melania being the "primary decision maker" in Barron's life came a week after her office released a statement that he pulled out of being a delegate nominating his dad for president.

"While Barron is honored to have been chosen as a delegate by the Florida Republican Party, he regretfully declines to participate due to prior commitments," Melania's office said in a statement to the Daily Mail on Barron's behalf.

Melania and Trump were proud parents when they joined their son during his graduation exercises. The former president was caught grinning while looking at Barron from the bleachers.

Meanwhile, Melania was stunning at the event. The former model's impeccable fashion sense was noticeable in her blue suit jacket, white skirt and straw hat.
