Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are plagued with divorce rumors, but the former's first husband, Ojani Noa, may not be surprised since he already predicted their marriage "won't last."

In 2022, Noa spoke with the Daily Mail after the celebrity couple eloped in Las Vegas. As the first man whom Lopez told that he was the one she wanted to spend "forever" with, he wished the then-newly weds the best at the time. However, he was sure her marriage to Affleck "won't last," as he noted with a shrug that she had "three husbands and five engagements" already.

"I wish her and Ben the best, but I'm not convinced it will last," Noa told the Daily Mail.

"Jen loves being in love, but she's been engaged six times. Ben is husband number four. I was husband number one, and she told me I was the love of her life. When we lay in bed on our wedding night, she said we would be together forever."

Nearly two years later, sources claimed that Lopez and Affleck could be heading for divorce, but Affleck is "not to blame." The "Gone Girl" actor has reportedly "come to his senses" that his marriage to the "Let's Get Loud" singer is failing.

"If there was a way to divorce on grounds of temporary insanity, he would," an unnamed source told Page Six. "He feels like the last two years was just a fever dream, and he's come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work."

Affleck and Lopez were seen together on Sunday. They were spotted smiling while in the same car. However, despite their demeanor in their recent outing, body language expert Judi James said there was a noticeable lack of affection. Affleck reportedly appeared "exasperated," and his smiles looked "performed."

Another eyewitness who saw the Hollywood couple together on Thursday at his daughter Fin's play claimed they weren't as affectionate as before. Affleck reportedly didn't look happy seeing Lopez at the event.

Before the divorce rumors, an unnamed source claimed that Lopez and Affleck needed "some adjustments" in their behavior to make their marriage work. At the time, they were living separately -- Lopez was in New York while Affleck was in Los Angeles to film the sequel of his movie "Accountant."

"This is the first long stretch they've spent apart in a while," an unnamed source told Life & Style. "And they're both dealing with it in different ways."

"The honeymoon is definitely over. The feeling is if they want to stay married, they both need to make some adjustments in their behavior."

Lopez was previously married to Noa from 1997 to 1998. She also tied the knot with Cris Judd (2001 - 2003) and Marc Anthony (2004 - 2014). Lopez and Anthony share 16-year-old twins, Max and Emme.

Affleck was previously married to Jennifer Garner from 2005 to 2018. They separated in 2015 and finalized their divorce three years later. They share three kids -- Violet, 18, Seraphina aka Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12.
