Kanye West Ex-Girlfriend Amber Rose Endorses Donald Trump For President; Posts Pic With Melania
Amber Rose took to social media to endorse Donald Trump for the 2024 U.S. presidential election.
On Monday, the model and rapper posted a photo of her with Trump and his wife Melania on Instagram and captioned it: "Trump 2024."
Her post quickly received different reactions from netizens in the comments section.
"Imagine being an 'advocate' for women's rights and endorsing Trump and his party who reversed Roe V Wade. Wild," one netizen commented.
"I thought you were against men grabbing women by the [cat emoji]," wrote someone else.
"I've never unfollowed someone for political reasons but to speak on feminism the way you have and then align yourself with him lets me know it was all fake from the jump. There's no way you can support women while supporting this man. I hope it's all worth it for you," a different commenter opined.
"Welp... thought you stood up for women? Guess [you're] just for the clicks," claimed another person.
"Amber, he's literally against everything you stand for! WTF?!" said a different person.
Rose also responded to one comment, saying her decision to support Trump was backed by research.
"Lmao. [Do you] all think Biden cares about Black people? Sad. Do your research. I did. I'll always put women first. Y'all want biological men in women's sports. Trump supports the most reasonable compromise on abortion. Stop being brainwashed 'cause we're people of color. Make your own decisions," she wrote.
Meanwhile, some showed support for Amber's decision.
"My respect for you [went up]. Trump 2024," commented singer Jimmy Levy.
"Hot and successful people know Trump 2024 is the way," said someone else.
"Time for a leader," another netizen wrote.
"Yes, queen!" said a different commenter.
The 40-year-old is known for being a women's rights activist "empowering women & the LGBTQ+ community while ending sexual and social injustice, derogatory labeling and gender inequality."
Her experience in the public eye as Kanye West's "heavily sexualized" ex-girlfriend has led her to embrace feminism and sex-positivity activism, according to the New York Times.
In 2015, she organized the Amber Rose SlutWalk in Los Angeles and protested to raise awareness of gender inequality.
