Jennifer Lopez 'Disappointed' At Diddy But Focused On Ben Affleck Marriage Issues: Report
Jennifer Lopez is reportedly disgusted by her ex-boyfriend Sean "Diddy" Combs' physical assault of singer Cassie Ventura.
As she faces mounting speculation that her marriage to Ben Affleck is heading for divorce, Lopez has stayed silent on the many allegations against Combs and the federal raids at his homes.
But an unnamed insider told the Daily Mail that the "Hustlers" star was "aware" of the accusations and "has seen" the footage released by CNN showing Combs viciously beating then-girlfriend Ventura in a hotel in 2016.
According to the source, Lopez -- who was in a relationship with the record executive from 1999 to 2001 -- is "tremendously disappointed" with Combs.
"What he has done and what he has been accused of is heartbreaking [for Lopez]," the insider told the outlet.
The source added, "It is disgusting for her to see that someone, who at one point in her life was someone she put so much trust in, has ended up turning into a very damaged human being. It is disturbing to see."
Despite this, Lopez reportedly has no plans to publicly address the matter and insert herself in the conversation as she continues to focus on her marriage to Affleck.
Since November 2023, Ventura and several others have come forward with various allegations against Combs, including rape, sexual assault, physical abuse, sex trafficking and more.
While Combs quickly settled Ventura's lawsuit, his lawyers maintained their client's innocence.
Following the release of the 2016 hotel surveillance footage last week, however, Combs apologized for physically abusing Ventura, saying he takes "full responsibility" for his actions in the video.
His ex-girlfriend also made headlines over the past week as reports claimed that Lopez and Affleck are living separate lives due to marriage issues -- just two years after tying the knot in Las Vegas.
An unnamed source close to the "Jenny from the Block" singer told People that the pair "did not celebrate Mother's Day together."
TMZ then reported that Affleck had moved out of their marital home in Beverly Hills and was staying in a mansion in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The split speculation was fueled by Lopez "liking" an Instagram post about broken relationships and by photos published by the outlet of Affleck stepping out without his wedding ring Friday.
However, the couple appeared to debunk the divorce rumors when they were photographed smiling as they spent time together in Santa Monica Sunday.
The following day, Lopez went solo during the premiere of her movie "Atlas" in Hollywood.
Affleck apparently skipped the premiere due to a scheduling conflict as he was seen on the set of his film, "The Accountant 2," around the same time, according to TMZ.
When asked during a recent movie press conference if the rumors surrounding her marriage to Affleck "are true," Lopez laughed off the question, responding, "You know better than that."
