Rick Ross Claps Back At 50 Cent After Being Called Out Over 'U.O.E.N.O.' Lyrics
50 Cent seemingly targeted Rick Ross in a recent Instagram post, but the latter made an epic response.
On Friday, 50 Cent -- real name Curtis James Jackson III -- took to Instagram and shared an artwork featuring the disgraced R&B singer R. Kelly with overlaid depictions of Diddy and the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Playing in the background was Ross' verse from the single "U.O.E.N.O." with controversial lyrics.
"Put molly all in her champagne/ She ain't even know it/ I took her home and enjoyed that/ She ain't even know it," Ross sings in the track.
"You know some times I think people are just stupid, why would you say this in song? I DRUGGED HER A*S, AND I RAPED HER A*S, AND SHE AINT EVEN KNOW IT!" 50 Cent wrote in the caption.
The "Money In The Grave" rapper didn't let it slide and clapped back at 50 Cent in the comments section. According to Ross, the lyric reflected 50 Cent's ex Daphne Joy's allegations against him.
"This was a lyric. Daphney [sic] Joy accused/says you sodomized and r---- her as you held her down in front of your son," he commented, Radar Online reported.
The post received mixed responses from the netizens, with many agreeing with the "In da Club" singer. But others claimed that 50 Cent was seemingly coming after Black artists who were reportedly more famous than him. Meanwhile, some alleged that the lyric seemed like a "confession" of a crime.
"Wildest confession in rap history," one commented.
Another added, "I always thought those lyrics were crazy like what?! Did you just say that out loud smh."
"I really love how you just don't give af! Keep exposing them," a third person wrote with a fire emoji.
"I asked this question, when this song was first released on the radio, and [people] looked at me like I said something wrong [expressionless face emoji] smh [woman facepalming emoji], THE VERSE IS RAPISH ASF if you ask me," another user said.
"Man 50 jealousy amongst his peers [who] are doing better than him is unmatched. Lol, for years, you talked about murdering, robbing, and torturing black people in your rhythms, and now you're some kind of saint. Lol you're playing a dangerous game my boy cause you ain't exempt either," someone else wrote.
"Rick Ross charges are coming soon, so y'all make sure you're not at his car show. Watch [and] see," a different user opined.
A different person said, "Sounds like the rapper snitched on himself. Actually, rappers [have] been snitching on themselves for the last 10 years. It's just now the Feds are really listening."
Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones sued Sean "Diddy" Combs earlier this year and the court documents named Joy and others as among Diddy's alleged sex workers. Joy denied the allegation, calling it "100% false."
However, 50 Cent trolled his ex-girlfriend by calling her a "little sex worker" in a now-deleted post. In response, she released a statement accusing the "Baby by Me" singer of rape.
"Let's put the real focus on your true evil actions of raping me and physically abusing me," Joy wrote on Instagram. "You are no longer my oppressor and my God will handle you from this point on. You have permanently damaged the last hope I had for you as a father to preserve our family with these last and final false claims made against me. You have broken our hearts for the last and final time."
Meanwhile, 50 Cent also filed a lawsuit against Joy following her rape allegations. In his filing, the rapper claimed that she only accused him of rape after he filed for sole custody of their 11-year-old son, Sire, after she was named as a sex worker in a lawsuit against Diddy.
He also called her claims against him "clearly extortive" because Joy allegedly asked him for millions of dollars and wanted him to drop the custody battle before she would remove her post on social media.
