Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's first biological child, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, just turned a year older.

Shiloh, or "Shi" to her friends, turned 18 on Monday. Her longtime choreographer, Lil Kelaan Carter, shared details about the teenager on her special day. According to Carter, even if Shiloh was born from a former Hollywood A-list celebrity couple, she never used her connections to her advantage.

"Shiloh is an exceptionally talented dancer, demonstrating dedication and hard work," Carter told the Daily Mail. "She is a sincere and straightforward person who never uses her celebrity status to her advantage."

The choreographer added that Shiloh is further from the stereotypical Hollywood "nepo baby" because she is determined to achieve her goals without relying on her famous parents' names.

"Shi does not rely on her famous name to achieve her goals. Honestly, I didn't even know who she was at first and I don't think this matters, especially in a dance studio," Carter continued.

"I understand that it can be difficult to see the person beyond her celebrity status, but I urge you to make an effort for her. Believe me, it is worth it."

In 2022, a video of Shiloh dancing to Doja Cat's "Vegas" made the rounds on social media. Many were impressed by her moves and were happy to see her enjoying what she loved. The professional dancer said videos featuring Shiloh "were made in the same way I post any dancer who comes to my sessions or classes and whom I believe deserves to be featured."

On Wednesday, Carter shared another video featuring Shiloh, him and two other dancers. They danced to Uncle Waffles and Tony Duardo's "Tanzania." Shiloh wore an oversized black T-shirt and sweatpants. Carter choreographed the routine.

He also shared a solo video of Shiloh, presumably from the same session as the aspiring dancer wore the same outfit and performed the same routine. In the caption, Carter wrote, "Her energy is crazy," along with multiple fire emojis and he thanked Shiloh for her "energy."

"Can't wait to be back in the studio with these talented people [white heart emoji] In the last period of my life, LA feels like home and I'm glad that I had the opportunity to meet so many hardworking and wonderful people. I'm glad every time to have you next to me in the studio, so thank you guys," he wrote.

Carter and Shiloh's dance class colleagues have shared several dance videos of her on social media. However, sources told the Daily Mail that Pitt and Jolie's daughter was rarely tagged as they respected her privacy.

The "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" star was a proud dad when he was once asked about Shiloh's viral dancing video in the "Bullet Train" premiere at the Regency Village Theatre in Los Angeles in August 2022. Pitt was emotional as he praised his daughter, saying she was "very beautiful."

"I don't know where she got it from. I'm Mr. Two-Left-Feet here," Pitt jokingly added.
