Boosie Believes Diddy Will Use His Cassie Apology As Intro To A 'Comeback Song'
Boosie Badazz shared his thoughts on Diddy's viral apology video over the 2016 Cassie Ventura assault.
On Monday, VladTV released its interview with the "Wipe Me Down" artist, who shared his take on the latest drama surrounding the "Bad Boy for Life" rapper.
"I feel like that was the intro to a song. I feel like [in] five years, you're gonna hear that on one of his comeback songs. That was an intro," he told DJ Vlad.
During the interview, Boosie also enumerated the three options the 54-year-old rapper has to revive his career.
"His options are to let it [the issue] die down for a decade and try to come back, go Christian and get saved -- I think that's what he's going to do I hear -- or go gay," he said.
"If he goes gay -- they run the world now -- he's going to be the forerunner. They're gonna speak for him."
"He has three options, go gay, go to the Lord God, or just wait it out," he repeated, summarizing what he thinks are the best paths to take for Diddy.
On May 19, a few days after the release of the hotel surveillance video showing him seemingly assaulting his then-girlfriend, the music mogul took to Instagram to post a video apology.
"It's so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you gotta do that. I was f***ed up. I mean, I hit rock bottom. But, I make no excuses. My behavior in that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video," he said.
"I am disgusted. I was disgusted then when I did it. I am disgusted now."
"I had to go into therapy, go into rehab. I asked God for his mercy and grace. I'm so sorry, but I'm committed to being a better man each and every day. I'm not asking for forgiveness. I'm truly sorry," he concluded his apology.
However, throughout the clip, Diddy did not mention Cassie's name or to whom he was apologizing.
