The Notorious B.I.G. Planned To Leave Diddy Before His Murder In 1997, Says Photographer Monique Bunn In Wild Exposé
In a stunning disclosure shedding light on a pivotal moment in hip-hop's storied past, an acclaimed photographer alleged that Christopher Wallace, famously known as The Notorious B.I.G and Biggie Smalls, had intentions to part ways with Sean "Diddy" Combs before his demise in 1997.
In a 'Rolling Stone' interview published on Tuesday, the magazine reached out to over 300 individuals to gather insights on their interactions with Diddy. Despite the extensive outreach, only 50 individuals, including photographer Monique Bunn, agreed to share their experiences.
According to the media outlet, numerous reports suggested that Biggie was considering leaving Bad Boy Records due to an alleged disagreement with Diddy, now 54, regarding his publishing rights.
"I will never give it up until I'm dead and my bones are crushed into powder," Combs allegedly declared, according to the exposé.
Moreover, Bunn alleged that Tupac Shakur harbored disdain for Diddy. She recounted that when Puff reportedly attempted to establish a friendship, the "California Love" rapper showed no interest in reciprocating. "Pac didn't have any kind of respect for Puff," Bunn purported. "He was a corny executive."
According to 'Rolling Stone,' an anonymous source hinted that a widespread sentiment existed within the industry, indicating a desire among many to sever ties with the New York producer. "Everybody wanted to leave Puffy," they alleged. "Everybody leaves him."
The digital feature included numerous statements from unidentified women all reportedly expressing a strong desire to distance themselves from the "I'll Be Missing You" rapper as much as possible.
In other Diddy news, former model Crystal McKinney is suing the Harlem native for allegedly sexually assaulting her over two decades ago. She claims she still has the clothes "unwashed" in a plastic bag from the alleged night and demands a trial by jury.
Diddy, 54, is innocent until proven guilty.
He publicaly denies many allegations against him, but has not addressed them all specifically.
