Former ‘Apprentice’ Producer Claims Donald Trump Used Racial Slur To Refer To Black Contestant Kwame Jackson
A former producer from the hit TV series 'The Apprentice' alleged that host Donald Trump used a racial slur against a Black contestant during the show's filming.
In a report Bill Pruitt published at Slate titled, "The Donald Trump I Saw on 'The Apprentice,'" Pruitt alleged that for years he "couldn't say" what he watched the former president do on set that "changed everything."
Per CNN, Pruitt claimed Trump used the offensive slur while discussing entrepreneur and finalist Kwame Jackson's performance, which was allegedly caught on camera. The discussion focused on who would win the first season, per the news outlet.
Pruitt claimed that the 45th president winced, and was strong-willed in not hiring Jackson. "Yeah," he [Trump] says to no one in particular, "but, I mean, would America buy a n****r winning?" Pruitt claimed Trump stated.
After the alleged comment, Pruitt claimed that his advisor Carolyn Kepcher's pale skin turned bright red, and upon analyzing Trump's demeanor, he was "serious," adding that the Republican nominee remained "adamant about not hiring" the finalist.
"Bienstock does a half cough, half laugh, and swiftly changes the topic or throws to Ross for his assessment. What happens next I don't entirely recall. I am still processing what I have just heard. We all are," Pruitt wrote.
According to 'CNN', Trump's campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung flatly denied the claims, alleging that old stories are being revived due to his lead in the 2024 presidential election. "This is a completely fabricated ... story that was already peddled in 2016," Cheung claimed.
"Nobody took it seriously then, and they won't now, because it's fake news," he alleged. "Now that Crooked Joe Biden and the Democrats are losing the election, they are bringing up old fake stories from the past because they are desperate."
Trump was in high spirits before the judge convicted him of 34 felonies on Thursday, making him the first former U.S. president to be convicted of a crime after a New York jury found him guilty of all charges in his hush money trial.
