The hit series "The Sex Lives of College Girls" has added Michael Hsu Rosen to its cast.

"The Sex Lives of College Girls" is an HBO show brought to audiences by the comedic minds of Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble. The main cast of the series includes stars such as Pauline Chalamet, Amrit Kaur, Midori Francis and Alyah Chanelle Scott.

Interestingly, Rosen has joined the show for Season 3. The actor was previously seen on screen in various productions, including '"Glamorous," "Daughter of the Bride," "Pretty Smart" and "The Good Doctor."

He will be taking on the role of Brian, another student at Essex College.

Rosen joining the cast is not the only change that fans can expect to see this upcoming season. Renee Rapp will no longer be a series regular, so she will only appear in a few episodes.

"The Sex Lives of College Girls" is a show that aims to capture the energy and excitement of college days from a unique angle. Kaling, who serves as producer, creator and showrunner, shared in an interview with AV Club her interest in dissecting this experience.

"What I love about the college experience is that there's no other time in your life when you're randomly assigned to live with people you did not choose. You're away from home for the first time. There's so much expectation and so many aspirations. People go to college and want to reinvent themselves," she said.

"I went to Dartmouth, and I hadn't seen this very specific, New England or East Coast college setting on TV yet. My co-creator, Justin Noble, went to Yale. We both loved our time in college. It felt like a great setting. It reminds me of Hogwarts in that there's so much wish fulfillment and feelings of 'We wish we could go back there.' We knew it was for HBO Max, so wanted the production value to be incredible. That was a big draw, too."

"The Sex Lives of College Girls" Season 3 will be released later this year.
