Jennifer Lopez has officially canceled her "This is Me...Live" tour.

Recent rumors claimed Jennifer Lopez's 2025 Las Vegas residency might be in jeopardy due to low tour and album sales. However, nothing has been officially confirmed about it, so the fate of the event has not yet been decided.

What's been decided is the fate of J.Lo's summer tour. The singer-actress just announced via her website the cancellation of her "This is Me...Live" tour as she will be "taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends."

Lopez's "This is Me...Live" tour was announced back in February. It came on the heels of the release of the performer's album "This is Me...Now." The tour originally shared the same name as her new album.

For months, the Hollywood star had been preparing to give audiences a retrospective of her career -- re-living the greatest hits from her time in the spotlight -- through her shows. Unfortunately, fans wouldn't be able to see what she prepared for them.

Before the cancellation announcement, performances were set to begin on June 26 and run until Aug. 17. This would have been her first tour in five years.

There is speculation that this need for family time may fall in line with her rumored divorce from husband Ben Affleck. Bot both parties have yet to officially address the issue.

For those who purchased tickets for the now-canceled tour, Lopez released this statement: "I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn't do this if I didn't feel that it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time..."

Live Nation has assured those who purchased tickets that they will automatically receive full refunds. However, those who bought tickets from a third-party seller will have to reach out to the specific company to get theirs. The companies include SeatGeek, StubHub and VividSeats, among others.
