John Lennon's son, Sean Ono Lennon, shared his two-word review of Prince Harry's memoir before criticizing him.

In January 2023, the Duke of Sussex dropped his book "Spare." Over a year later, Lennon shared his take on the publication in a series of posts on X, formerly Twitter, and he called its author an "idiot."

"My long-awaited review of Prince Harry's autobiography is two words. 'Spare Me,'" Lennon tweeted.

Lennon's tweet received several responses. Several seemingly sided with Prince Harry and defended him. One even clapped back at Lennon, writing: "Shame you don't see how much you have in common," noting that both of their fathers were cheaters "who chose their mistresses over their families." The online user added that the major difference between them was that Prince Harry was "pursued relentlessly by the press" while he was "all but forgotten."

"Actually, I am aware of it. We met once. That was before I realized he was an idiot," Lennon commented.

Lennon clarified that he didn't have anything against Prince Harry. However, he shared what really bothered him about the royal.

"It's the stupidity that bothers me," he wrote.

Another user also reminded Lennon to "have more understanding and compassion" because everyone else is also hurting and struggling. However, the 48-year-old musician and songwriter doubled down on his take about Meghan Markle's husband, noting that he deserved the mockery.

"It was a pun. But he deserves to be mocked after that todger episode. He'll be fine," Lennon said.

He added, "I do empathize with him generally. But the way he whines and wangs on about things is really too much. I'm just having a little fun. I think he's earned some mockery. (I'm sure I have as well)."

Some social media users pointed out how Prince Harry was better than Lennon. One said Prince Harry served his countrywhile questioning if Lennon did the same. Another added that at least Prince Harry had a bestseller in 2023, while Lennon didn't have any. However, the musician wasn't bothered by it at all.

"I don't care, but I did win an Oscar this year [sic], so... I think I'm doing okay," Lennon responded.

In Prince Harry's book, he shared that his "todger" was in pain during Prince William and Kate Middleton's royal wedding in 2011.

"Upon arriving home, I'd been horrified to discover that my nether regions were frostnipped as well, and while the ears and cheeks were already healing, the todger wasn't," he wrote, per Vanity Fair. "It was becoming more of an issue by the day."
