Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck Appear 'Tense' Despite Holding Hands Amid Divorce Rumors, Tour Cancellation

Jennifer Lopez and her husband Ben Affleck could not muster a smile in new photos showing them putting on what has become a rare sign of PDA.

On Thursday, Affleck and Lopez put on a united front as they attended his and ex-wife Jennifer Garner's daughter Violet's graduation ceremony in Los Angeles.

In photos shared by TMZ and the Daily Mail, the Oscar winner and the multi-hyphenate were captured holding hands and talking as they left the ceremony.

However, both Affleck and Lopez appeared "tense," with the singer-actress looking at her husband with a serious expression during their conversation.

The details of their exchange were not disclosed, but Affleck and Lopez could be seen pointing at something at one point.

For the ceremony, the "Hustlers" star donned a salmon pink coat, matching dress and perspex heels.

Affleck, for his part, opted for a blue suit with a white button-down shirt.

The pair were joined by Lopez's twins, 16-year-old Max and Emme, and Affleck's kids Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12.

Affleck's mother, Christopher Anne Boldt, and Garner's mother, Pat Garner, were also spotted with the group.

Affleck and Lopez reportedly left the venue separately and returned to their current residences with their respective kids.

Rumors began swirling earlier this month that the "Argo" director and the "On the Floor" hitmaker's marriage was on the rocks less than two years after they tied the knot in Las Vegas.

TMZ earlier reported that Affleck had moved from his marital home with Lopez to a rental house in L.A.'s Brentwood neighborhood and was photographed stepping out without his wedding ring multiple times.

Unnamed sources told Us Weekly that Affleck and Lopez are taking some time apart to reassess their "priorities" and figure out "what they truly want from the marriage."

But the insiders claimed that they are both willing to work on their issues and save their marriage.

Despite the "heartbreaking" situation, Lopez attended Violet's graduation because she and Affleck are prioritizing the children, an unnamed source told People.

"The graduation was a big deal," the insider explained. "Jennifer wanted to celebrate it."

In addition to the split speculation, Lopez has also been dealing with issues regarding her summer North American tour.

On Friday, the pop star announced the cancellation of her "This Is Me...Live" tour amid reports of poor sales and multiple canceled dates.
