MrBeast finally dethroned T-Series as the most-subscribed YouTube channel.

YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson, popularly known as MrBeast, took to social media to announce on Saturday that he finally bested T-Series in terms of YouTube follower count. In his post, he said that he had 1,608 more followers than the Bollywood music label at the time.

As of press time, MrBeast already has over 269 million subscribers on his channel while T-Series has over 266 million subscribers on the video-sharing platform.

With a huge YouTube following, there's no doubt that Donaldson is raking in hundreds of millions of dollars from his channel with videos that are regularly getting over 100 million views each.

In 2022, Forbes included MrBeast in its 30 under 30 list. The outlet also estimated that the online content creator was worth some $500 million. He only had 112 million YouTube subscribers back then.

In his interview with Time last February, the popular YouTuber said he was earning about $600 million to $700 million yearly.

"Each video does a couple million in ad revenue [and] a couple million in brand deals. I've reinvested everything to the point of-you could claim-stupidity, just believing that we would succeed. And it's worked out," he told the magazine.

He also has a personal chef and a trainer now to protect him from "caving under his workload." And while he lives in a modest $318,000 home, he slowly bought a neighborhood for himself, his family and his employees in May 2023, according to the New York Post.

However, he claims that he is not rich, saying, "I mean, not right now. I'm not naive; maybe one day. But right now, whatever we make, we reinvest."

He said that he spends lavishly on every video he creates and sometimes shoots as much as 12,000 hours just for a 15-minute clip.

In August 2020, he reportedly spent at least $3 million on his staff's salaries, production costs and other expenses, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

"I don't have access to any of my bank accounts. I have a CFO and everything but [Susan Parisher, his mom] is the one who has access to the master bank account," he added, saying his mom keeps an eye on things for him.

In terms of other assets, the popular YouTuber reportedly owns some of the most expensive vehicles in all of Greensville, North Carolina, according to Way.

MrBeast's car collection reportedly includes a Lamborghini Gallardo, a BMW 3 Series, a Tesla Model 3, a Nissan Armada and a Lamborghini Huracan Spyder that is reportedly worth over $213,000.

But aside from collecting cars, he is known for giving cars away. In 2020, he gave his 40,000,000th YouTube subscriber 40 cars, including luxury vehicles like Porsche, Chrysler and Tesla, among many others.

The next year, he gave away a Lamborghini to the last person to take their hand off the car. The other participants who lost were also given consolation prizes.

Aside from holding expensive giveaways, MrBeast reportedly donates to charities such as the Veterans Army Wounded Warrior Program, Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, a local animal shelter in Los Angeles and various homeless shelters, among many others.

Outside YouTube, Donaldson has Feastables -- a line of snacks he launched in 2022.

He told Time that his snack line will make $500 million in annual revenue this year.

Per Celebrity Net Worth, he also has other business ventures, including a multiplayer endurance game called "Finger on the App," the virtual delivery restaurant MrBeast Burger and a clothing line.
