Zachary Quinto Booted From Restaurant After Reportedly Acting ‘Entitled’ and ‘Childish’: ‘A Terrible Customer’
Zachary Quinto was booted from a Toronto restaurant after reportedly flaunting hurtful Hollywood behavior during Sunday brunch.
The 'Star Trek' actor reportedly terrorized employees at Manita by berating staff, allegedly bringing a host to tears at the neighborhood cafe, grocery, and bar.
The temperament of the 47-year-old actor was so bad, according to reports, it drove the restaurant to post on Instagram, detailing his alleged brutal etiquette, which included acting like "an entitled child" and making diners uncomfortable.
"Zachary Quinto — an amazing Spock, but a terrible customer," the cafe claimed in their story. "Yelled at our staff like an entitled child after he didn't reply to two texts to inform him his table was ready and refused to believe the empty tables in the dining room weren't available for him despite being politely informed they were spoken for."
"Made our host cry and the rest of our brunch diners uncomfortable," the detailed post alleged. "Mr. Quinto, take your bad vibes somewhere else, we have many lovely celebrities join us at Manita but you are NOT one of them."
The restaurant reminded readers that they are grateful for their "mostly incredible, friendly, and gracious guests," who from time to time give constructive feedback. "We aren't above criticism, but we are above being demeaned," they defended in the post.
Fellow social media users were seemingly elated to see the neighborhood cafe standing up for themselves and their employees, with an overwhelming amount of users responding with "Good for you!"
"Good for you, being a 'celebrity' shouldn't strip you of your basic manners and how to treat other human beings," one user replied. "Manita easily has the nicest staff in the west end, how dare he," another wrote.
The Pittsburgh native played the role of Spock in a series of 'Star Trek' films from 2009 and 2016. He also played Sylar in the science fiction drama series 'Heroes' between 2006 and 2010.
As of this writing, he has not publically addressed the restaurant's allegations.
