"Love Island" host Maya Jama personally introduced the reality show to King Charles during their meeting.

During the Sovereign's Creative Industries Garden Party at Buckingham Palace last month, the 29-year-old presenter had a chit-chat with the King, disclosing a few details about the show she is hosting.

"I'm an ITV host. I host 'Love Island.' I don't know if you watch that though. That's like a reality dating show. That's what I do," she introduced herself to the King after they exchanged greetings.

"There's one born every minute," the royal quipped, and then asked her about her future plans with "Love Island."

"I'm just about to go to Spain to film some new young people snog someone. That's coming," she responded, seemingly inviting the King to watch the show.

BBC News uploaded the clip on its YouTube channel on May 16, and it has since received different reactions from social media users.

"She's inviting you, man, Charlie boy, take the offer," quipped one YouTube user.

"Bless her, she is a gem," wrote another.

Meanwhile, other commenters said the interaction was "cringe" and "crass."

The ITV reality show returned for its 11th installment on Monday, revealing the 12 new singletons hoping to find romance in the villa. Aside from finding love, the winning couple voted by the public will take home a £50,000 cash prize (~US$64,000).

Per Digital Spy, the first challenge rankings left the following initial couplings: Mimii and Munveer, Nicole and Sean, Jess and Ronnie, Patsy and Ayo, Samantha and Sam, and Harriett and Ciaran.

For reality show fans in the United States, "Love Island" UK can be streamed via ITV2's website with a VPN, according to IGN.

It will also be available on Hulu about two weeks after it airs on ITV2.

"Love Island" UK Season 11 airs on ITV2 on Sundays through Fridays at 9 p.m. GMT (4 p.m. ET or 1 p.m. PT).
