Britney Spears Reunites With Ex-Fiancé, And Former Conservator, In Las Vegas
What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.
Britney Spears reunited with her ex-fiancé Jason Trawick on a trip to Las Vegas last week. Spears and Trawick began dating in 2009 and got engaged in 2011. By 2013, the engagement had been called off.
For a time, Trawick was one of the superstar's co-conservators.
While the romantic aspect of their relationship was brought to an end, the Spears siblings and Trawick remained on friendly terms. The Princess of Pop took the trip down to Sin City with her brother Bryan Spears.
Trawick, who reportedly has been living in Las Vegas for several years, met up with the siblings at Resorts World Las Vegas.
There is nothing to suggest that this Vegas hang out was anything more than platonic. A source told TMZ that some friends are "cautiously optimistic" that something more could happen between the two ex-lovers, but neither one is thinking in that way at this time.
Fans have been growing increasingly concerned about Spears and her mental health. While her conservatorship ended in the radical #FreeBritney movement, those following the superstar are still worried about her.
A source shared their concerns with 'In Touch,' explaining: "There's no shortage of ways she can earn a living, but the real problem here is her broken personality, her low self-esteem, and all the personal setbacks she's experienced in the last 15 years. It's a huge hole she has to dig herself out of, and she doesn't really have an emotional support system like other stars on her level have."
"The scary thing is that there is no plan for the rest of her life beyond her vague desire to find a partner and settle down again," the insider claimed. The path the star is on right now is not a sustainable one, the source continued.
"Look, Britney can do anything with her life thanks to the work she put in and the fame she achieved starting in her teens," they claimed. "But the path she's on now is only going to lead to more pain."
