Prince Harry, Meghan Markle's Plan For Archie, Lilibet 'Completely Exposes' Their Being 'Frauds': Royal Expert
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry want to enroll their children at an "outrageously expensive school," according to a royal commentator.
Lee Cohen, a journalist and royal commentator, weighed in on the reports that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were planning to enroll their children -- Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3 -- at an expensive school. Prince Harry and Markle are reportedly scouting for high-grade schools around Montecito for their kids' education.
"It's utterly infuriating to hear that Harry and Meghan, the self-proclaimed champions of equality and social justice, are even contemplating enrolling their children in an exclusive, outrageously expensive school," Cohen said on GB News.
"Their supposed commitment to progressive causes is nothing but a facade. If they're willing to indulge in this epitome of elitism, there is no advocating for equality. Yet they're willing to pay staggering tens of thousands per year for their children's education. How can they possibly justify this when so many families struggle to afford even the basic necessities?"
He went on to say that this move would only expose the Sussexes as frauds.
"Sending their children to such a prestigious institution completely exposes the frauds that Harry and Meghan are. By perpetuating the very systems of privilege that they claim to expose," Cohen added.
Richard Mineards from the Montecito Journal claimed that the Sussexes were eyeing to enroll their kids at a local private school. Prince Harry and Markle were reportedly seen inspecting an institution, suggesting they were closer to making a decision.
"School fees in our area range from $60,000 to $50,000 plus for older grades, with most of the institutions having 100 percent of students going on to attend four-year colleges," Mineards wrote, per the Irish Mirror.
In related news, Lilibet just celebrated her 3rd birthday on Tuesday. She reportedly received a present from her grandfather, King Charles.
"King Charles had no intention of completely ignoring Lilibet's birthday, so he has sent a gift along with a message," royal expert and commentator Tom Quinn told the Mirror.
Quinn added that the British monarch reserved a special present for Lilibet for when the family feud is over.
"He gave Prince George a beautiful hand-made wooden swing with George's name carved on it, and he has plans to give something similar to Lilibet, but not this year. And not unless and until the family feud dies down," he said.
