Foxy Brown Could Be Called To Court As A Key Witness In Tupac's Murder Trial: 'She Could Prove Vital'
Rapper Foxy Brown may be appearing in court as a reported key witness in the murder of Tupac Shakur.
The 1996 shooting of Tupac Shakur is still the shot heard around the rap world. The death of the late rapper, born Lesane Parish Crooks, is rumored to have been ordered by members of the Southside Crip gang.
According to the 'U.S. Sun,' Duane "Keefe D" Davis played a major role in the carrying out of his murder, and in order to prove this, a list of witnesses to confirm Davis was in the area of the shooting is being created.
'The Jasmine Brand' reports Foxy Brown may have borne witness to crucial evidence in Tupac's death. Brown, born Inga DeCarlo Fung Marchland, was reportedly in Las Vegas on September 7, 1996. She allegedly crossed paths with Keefe D hours before the rapper was shot on the Vegas strip.
The importance of Brown's willingness to participate in the trial was illustrated to the 'U.S. Sun' by a source close to the case.
"There are secret and delicate conversations going on about Foxy being a witness at the trial," the source claimed. "She could prove vital in taking the stand or even making a statement about her recollection of being around the men, who claim they were in her company for a short while before they set off to murder Tupac."
Keefe D was arrested in September 2023 after reportedly confessing — several times — that he was involved in the murder of Tupac, who died at 25-year-old. One iteration of this confession was written in his memoir, 'Compton Street Legend,' in which he alleged that he gave his nephew, Orlando "Baby Lane" Anderson, the weapon that he allegedly used to kill the "California Love" rapper.
Keefe D has also alleged that the motive behind the murder came from Sean "Diddy" Combs.
He alleged that Diddy, 53, made an offer that involved killing both Tupac and Suge Knight.
Knight, who is currently incarcerated for voluntary manslaughter and was sentenced to 28 years, has reportedly been hesitant to testify.
Diddy has denied his involvement in the death of Shakur.
