Streamer Tylil James broke his silence about the groping incident involving his sister and Michael Rainey Jr.

The "Power" star was featured on James' livestream when the latter's sister approached the former and seemingly groped him. In the video that circulated online, Rainey Jr.'s facial expression noticeably changed, and he covered his privates with his two arms crossed. Rainey Jr. remained in the moment and could still be seen laughing after that.

However, in a post on his Instagram Story after the incident, he admitted that he wasn't comfortable, and James apologized for his sister's behavior, admitting it was "inappropriate and unacceptable."

"After the actions that occurred during my stream last night, I would like to sincerely apologize to Michael and his family for what took place," James wrote on his Instagram Story on Monday.

"My little sister was completely wrong and out of line. What she did was very inappropriate and unacceptable. I am truly embarrassed and disgusted by her actions."

The streamer also said that he would "completely respect" whatever Michael's decision would be. He also decided to ban his sister from his future streams.

"After watching the clip, I was completely taken back by what she done," James continued. "I will take extreme precautions with future streams to avoid similar issues and have banned her from participating in future streams. I do not condone any type of assault."

Rainey Jr. also released a statement about the incident on his Instagram Story on the same day. The "Power Book II: Ghost" actor admitted that he was "still in shock" and refused to condone the incident.

"At this point, everyone has seen the video circulating online. I am still in shock and don't fully know how to process what happened last night," he began.

"This is an unfortunate situation that I do not condone in any way. I can't take it lightly because I know I would be in serious trouble if the roles were reversed."

He also stressed that "sexual assault is never okay, regardless of gender." Rainey Jr. ended his statement by reminding everyone to respect others and themselves.

"We're all human, and we should respect each other. Most importantly, we should always respect ourselves," he wrote.
