Nicki Minaj Shares Cryptic 2-Word Tweet Sparking Divorce Rumors: ‘Speak Up Now’
Nicki Minaj sent the barbs into a tizzy following a simple cryptic post that sparked rumors of a possible divorce in the future.
The message posted to Twitter, now known as X, which has now been seen over 6.8 million times, included just two words leading her following of 28.1M to expect the worst.
"Yes Single..." the 'FTCU' rapper wrote without any follow up or explanation. Within moments, Minaj's comment section was flooded with comments, questions, and concerns. "Before I react, what are we talking about?" one concerned Barb responded.

"So are we getting a new single or are you single," a fan responded, using a GIF of Minaj waiting patiently for an answer. "SPEAK UP NOW NICKI!! DON'T LEAVE US WITH THIS," an energetic fan demanded.
A third X user wrote, "Dear rap girlies, this is how you pull a PR stunt. Literally two words and she ate [crying laughing emoji]."
Meanwhile, many simply showed unwavering support, saying: "The barbz are eating regardless. Either she's dropping a single or she's dropping that man. Either way, the fans are eating good."
The award-winning rapper's husband of five years, Kenneth Petty, remains on her fans' bad side, as her audience largely disapproves of them as a unit with one follower writing: "You Left Him!?!!! Finally."
Petty, 46, tied the knot with the "Pink Friday" rap queen in 2019, nearly two decades after he was accused of sexual abuse and convicted of first-degree attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl in 1995. The girl alleged the rapper's husband sexually assaulted her at knifepoint.
He was also sentenced to three years probation after his failure to register as a sex offender in California in 2020. In addition to sexual abuse accusations, Minaj and Petty were ordered by a judge to pay $500,000 after he sucker punched a security guard in Germany.
Only time will tell whether this jarring cryptic message will lead to the two dissolving their union or a new music single for Summer 2024.
