Nicolas Cage's Son Weston Cage Banned From Seeing Twin Daughters During Contentious Divorce
Weston Cage, Nicolas Cage's son, has lost his custody battle with his ex-wife.
Cage and Hila Cage Coppola has been embattled in a bitter divorce and custody battle since last year.
In the most recent development, the actor's son has lost custody of his twin daughters, Venice Cage Coppola and Cyress Cage Coppola. According to 'The Blast,' visitation rights were also not awarded to Cage.
The ongoing divorce has been a messy affair for the entire Cage family. Weston's parents have never met their granddaughters, and now, they will not be allowed to. 'The Blast' reports the ruling in Hila's favor that makes it illegal for Weston, or his parents, to see his daughters.
Hila Cage Coppola also attempted to bring Nicolas Cage into court proceedings.
According to court documents obtained by the same outlet, the 'Face/Off' actor was subpoenaed for his financial records and bank statements, but refused the subpoena.
Weston's ex-wife's reasoning was that Nicolas, 60, was primarily funding the lifestyle of his son. Her defense argued that Weston's "father clearly pays the mass majority of your client's bills and living expenses." On those grounds, they sought to examine Nicolas' financial records.

Nicolas' lawyer, Brian G. Wolf, declined. He stated, "Responding Party objects to the Subpoena to the extent it seeks to impose duties and obligations that the California Code of Civil Procedure requires only of parties to the action."
This isn't the first time Cage made headlines due to family issues.
The outlet also reported Cage hit his mother, Christina Fulton, as she was spotted with a black eye following a reported fight with her son. Christina denied that the fight had ever occurred, and by the time authorities arrived on the scene, Cage was no longer there.
