"The most extreme thing I've done as a doctor, is decide to get married in my scrubs," the viral doctor said.

Rather than the grand attempt to clear out their clinics, the duo opted to head over to City Hall in Toronto during their lunch break on April 23, per 'PEOPLE.'

"Getting married in @FIGS was appropriate as two doctors balancing our work and personal life — thanks #wearfigs for the fit — we had a great day," the TikTok user penned in the caption. The video has been seen over one million times since posted.

"I think this is the opposite of work life balance lol," a fellow user responded."I want my doctor to be able to take a day off, for anything but especially their own wedding. But if you love it, I love it!" one supportive fan replied.

Dr. Aujnarain, 36, admitted to 'PEOPLE' in a statement that they were in a bit of a time crunch.

"We realized quite late that we needed to do part one of the legal documentation within weeks of our reception and we realized both of our clinics were fully booked," she said. "We found a time that worked for our busy clinical schedules: lunchtime."

The scrubs notably became a staple in their relationship, which is why they decided Figs scrubs would do the trick in the wardrobe department.

"We both have worn Figs scrubs for the last two years — which is why we wore them for our wedding," she revealed. "We enjoy that part of our lives, just as much as we love to travel, go on global health missions and try out cuisines from all over the world."

According to the media outlet, the couple plan to host a bigger ceremony with 200 guests at a later date.
