O.J. Simpson Reportedly Hired Gambino Mafia Goons To Kill Ex-Wife Nicole Brown Simpson: ‘I'm Glad He's Dead'
O.J. Simpson reportedly hired the mob to kill his ex-wife.
According to the 'New York Post, the late-Simpson allegedly hired goons from the Gambino mafia family — known as one of the "five families" who reportedly dominated organized crime in New York City — to kill Nicole Brown Simpson.
Per the news outlet, a Los Angeles collections agency owner allegedly confessed those details to a Hollywood detective last week. OJ, known as "The Juice," was tried for that same murder before he was acquitted in the double murder trial on October, 3 1995.
Simpson passed away on April 10 after a battle with cancer. He was 76.

The outlet reported that a source named John Dunton claimed Simpson ordered the hit on his wife. He also alleged that the former football star was on-site the day the brutal murder took place, according to PI Paul Barresi.
Hollywood private investigator Barresi allegedly played a recording for the 'Post,' exposing a conversation between himself and Dunton, who claimed he'd found out about Simpson's whereabouts on that night.
Per the outlet, Barresi managed to get Dunton on the phone after 30 years when he agreed to talk. The now 62-year-old insisted the killing was a mob hit.
"100 percent. The four guys that came, they were members of the Gambino family. They were involved in all kinds of stuff. You know what the mob does. The bottom line is everything was done with OJ's direction. That's what happened," Dunton claimed, per the news outlet.
"He was there," Dunton insisted to Barresi, per 'The Post.' "I don't know what he did, but he was there. He knew these guys were going over to Nicole's house to kill her. He wanted to be there. I don't know why. I'm glad he's dead to be honest. What he did was a really horrible thing and I went through hell because of that."
Simpson was also tried for the murder of Nicole's friend, Ron Goldman, in June 1994. Found in a pool of blood, Nicole was stabbed seven times in the neck and scalp.
Dunton alleged to Barresi he was visited by a Gambino operative who stuck a gun in his mouth. "He also said they'd whack my family too," he said per the news outlet. "It was scary."
