Could another hip-hop feud be brewing?

Pharrell Williams released a diss track seemingly aimed at Drake. Pharrell's new song, titled "Double Life," is part of the soundtrack for the upcoming 'Despicable Me 4' movie.

According to 'Rolling Stone' magazine, the song contains lyrics that fans believe are a subtle retort to the Canadian rapper.

"Hey, what are you hiding? / What you do when you're gone? / Nothin' wrong bein' private / Make sure it ain't wrong / Your life double-sided / Two-faced like coins / What side do I get? / What side are you on?"

A bit later in the song, Pharrell, 51, continues:

"So what have you done? / Some of your dirt has come to light ... Lie detector time / Do you feel bad when you lie?"

During the high-profile beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake, Lamar hinted at inheriting the silent feud between Pharrell and Drake which reportedly began in 2018.

Drake, real name Aubrey Drake Graham, feuded with Pusha T who is a close friend of Pharrell. While Pharrell was not directly in conflict with the "Hotline Bling" rapper, Pharrell's reported allegiance to Pusha T inspired muted outrage in Drake.

One of the most blatant acknowledgements about the tension between the two rappers can be found on Travis Scott's song 'Meltdown'. On the track, Drake, 37, seemingly takes shots at Pharrell.

"I melt down the chains that I bought from yo boss / Give a f*** about all of that heritage s*** / Since V not around, the members done hung up the Louis / They not even wearing that s***"

The bar was in relation to some of Pharrell's items being sold in a silent auction, items which Drake purchased. It is also in reference to Pharrell's work with Louis Vuitton.
