‘Friday’ Actress Angela Means Confirms Katt Williams' Claim Steve Harvey Stole Comedian's Jokes: 'It Was Blatant'
'Friday' actress Angela Means is confirming allegations that Steve Harvey would steal other comedian's jokes.
Means, who played Felicia in the 1995 cult-classic film, sat down with 'ComedyHype,' backing Katt Williams' claims that Harvey lifted jokes from fellow comics — something she claims was common at the time.
Although the 60-year-old, who acknowledged the copying of jokes, stated that it's time comedians complaining about it "let it go."
"There's a term called arrested development," Means began. "And a lot of people just can't let things go. You gotta' let it go." She then moved onto Harvey, one of many called out in Williams' viral tell-all interview on 'Club Shay Shay,' in January.

"Steve Harvey will steal some jokes," Means laughed. "It was like... blatant. But, it was a bunch of people stealing jokes. You almost had to steal jokes in the beginning of your career just to understand what timing was."
"Imma' tell you this too... everybody stole from Mark Curry. Mark Curry was one of the most prolific geniuses of comedy," the mother of one continued. "He would riff and people would be like, 'He's never gonna' say that again — Imma take that.' "
Means made it clear that Williams, 52, and Curry, 63, need to "let go of Steve Harvey" and allow things to fall into place because "Steve Harvey did not make it off Mark Curry's UPS Halloween joke."
"Mark Curry's not where Steve is, not because of Steve...because of Mark Curry," she clarified, stating that the Cleveland, Ohio, native dreamed about big millions and the "frequency" of his focus got him there.
"We get in our own way, talkin' about, 'He stole — he did this to me'... get out your own way," she said. "That's the stuff you have to let go, and let the universe get at Steve on that."
