Ashley Benson Shuts Down Ozempic Rumors After Steamy Gym Selfie: 'Don't Discredit People Who Also Work Very Hard'
Ashley Benson is setting the record straight.
Benson, best known for her role in 'Pretty Little Liars,' recently found herself at the center of a social media storm after posting a strikingly fit gym selfie. The actress, who gave birth to a babygirl in February, has been on a journey to reclaim her pre-pregnancy body, sharing her fitness journey with her followers.
However, some commenters speculated that her impressive transformation was due to the use of Ozempic, a medication known for its weight loss effects.
According to 'PEOPLE,' Benson quickly shut the comments down. She posted a picture of the comments to her Instagram Story with the text: "Comments like this are so funny to me."

Benson, 34, also provided candid insight into her post-pregnancy fitness journey.
"I know a lot of people take Ozempic and that's totally fine. To each their own," she said. "But don't discredit people who also work very hard to get their body back like I've done with mine."
"Getting back to work forced me to focus on my health and working out, and I wanted to feel confident and good about myself," Benson continued.

While the California native is private about her daughter online, she posted a picture of her with her face covered for Father's Day. She celebrated her husband, Brandon Davis, writing, "From the moment I was pregnant you never left my side. Came to every single appointment because you knew how scared I was. You showed up for me every time and I knew you were going to do the same for our daughter and be the best daddy to her."
