Daniel Radcliffe took home his first Tony Award on Sunday night, winning the 2024 Tony Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical.

The honor was awarded for his standout performance in the acclaimed revival of 'Merrily We Roll Along,' a production that has not only received critical acclaim, but also endeared itself to audiences with its heart and humor.

'Merrily We Roll Along' is the fifth Broadway show in which Radcliffe, 34, has performed in, following his previous appearances in 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,' 'Equus,' 'The Cripple of Inishmaan,' and 'The Lifespan of a Fact.'

During an emotional acceptance speech, Radcliffe conveyed his deep gratitude and affection for his colleagues and loved ones.

"I'm going to talk fast and try not to cry," he began.

"Thank you so much to our cast, everybody on that stage. It is an honor to be on stage with you every single night, and I will miss it so much. Speaking of missing things, Jonathan, Lindsay, I will miss you so much," he continued. "I don't really have to act in this show, I just have to look at you and feel everything I want to feel. I will never have it this good again."

Radcliffe, best known for his role as Harry Potter, was referencing his castmates Jonathan Groff and Lindsay Mendez. Groff, 39, received the Tony Award for Lead Actor in a Musical.

His speech culminated a touching tribute to his partner Erin Darke. "My love, Erin, you and our son are the best that has ever happened to me. I love you so much," he said. "Thank you so much."
