Isaiah Buggs Charged With Domestic Violence After Allegedly Dragging The Mother Of His Children Down A Flight Of Stairs
A Kansas City Chiefs' player has been arrested for second-degree domestic violence and burglary.
Isaiah Buggs, an NFL defensive lineman, is accused of dragging the mother of his children down a flight of stairs in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on Sunday.
According to 'TMZ,' police arrested Buggs, 27, shortly after the alleged event. The alleged incident began at 5:28am when Buggs reportedly broke into the home of his child's mother wielding a tire iron.

Buggs reportedly went up the stairs to speak with the victim. The situation reportedly escalated rapidly, leading to Buggs allegedly dragging her down the stairs before authorities arrived and took him into custody.
The NFL player was released on a $5,000 bail on Monday.
These charges come in addition to Buggs' previous legal issues. He has two prior second-degree animal cruelty misdemeanors on his record. According to 'PEOPLE,' Bugg's agent, Trey Robinson, released a statement back when the misdemeanor charges were initially filed.

"Isaiah vehemently denies the truthfulness of the allegations and charges asserted against him today. Under no circumstance does Mr. Buggs condone the mistreatment of any animal," a statement said. "The dogs at issue did not belong to him and he was unaware they remained at the property in question."
"Furthermore, we believe the City of Tuscaloosa's decision to file the charges today is part of a concerted effort by the City of Tuscaloosa and its Police Department to besmirch Mr. Buggs's name and reputation as part of an on-going subversive campaign to force the close of his local business Kings Hookah Lounge," the statement added.
The Kansas City Chiefs have yet to release an official statement regarding Buggs's arrest.
