Fans are demanding to see the purported deleted scenes from 'Bridgerton,' but that doesn't mean there are any.

According to 'PEOPLE,' Tom Verica, the producer of the popular Netflix series, has firmly denied rumors about the existence of deleted scenes featuring actors Luke Newton and Nicola Coughlan from the show's third season.

Fans have been abuzz with speculation that scenes showcasing the relationship between Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington were left on the cutting room floor.

The speculation suggested that these intimate moments were excluded from the final cut of the season, leading to dissatisfaction among fans of the Polin pairing. The backlash reportedly stemmed from the perception that Colin and Penelope received significantly less screen time compared to other romantic leads in the series.

Taking to Instagram, Verica directly addressed the rumors. "Not sure where this all came from but these claims are false. The supposed scenes... don't exist," he wrote, unequivocally putting an end to the speculation.

Coughlan, 37, also took to Instagram to back up Verica's statement. "I think you got all the Polin we had, but there's lots of BTS still to share," confirming that fans have indeed seen all the content that was filmed involving her character's relationship with Colin.

The rumors originally took flight after fans calculated the screen time for Colin and Penelope, noting a significant discrepancy compared to the more prominent romantic storylines in the show. This led to growing frustration and a desire for more representation of the beloved characters.

An account called Polin Bridgerton went so far as to begin a  Change.com petition. In the "Why This Petition Matters" section of the page, the fan wrote in the style of Whistledown herself.

"Dearest Gentle Reader,

On June 13th, Netflix released the much anticipated second half of Bridgerton season 3, with Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) and Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) as the romantic leads. After a six months-long global press tour, millions of fans were extremely excited to see Polin's love story unfold on the screen. Although the season was beautiful, and Luke and Nicola did an absolutely amazing job, fans were left a bit unsatisfied with the lack of happy moments between the couple. Throughout the world tour, we were made to believe that we would see 'Polin take on the world together', unfortunately that was not how most fans experienced Part 2. In total, Polin only had 78 minutes of screen time in their own season, compared to 113 minutes for Saphne (S1) and 89 minutes for Kanthony (S2)."
