Donald Sutherland, Julio Foolio, and several other celebrities died over the past week.

Fans around the world are mourning the loss of several famous stars who left their mark in film, TV, music, and sports.

Here are the eight celebrities who passed away from June 16 to 23.

1. Julio Foolio

Rapper Julio Foolio was killed in a shooting in Tampa, Florida, Sunday. He was 26.

His lawyer said in a statement obtained by the New York Post that Julio Foolio -- whose real name is Charles Jones -- was "reportedly ambushed" and fatally shot outside a local Holiday Inn hotel.

No arrest had been made in connection with his death as of Sunday afternoon.

According to First Coast News, the rapper was a member of the Jacksonville gang KTA, which is feuding with rival gangs.

Julio Foolio previously survived a shooting at his recording studio in Jacksonville.

2. Donald Sutherland

"M*A*S*H." and "Hunger Games" actor Donald Sutherland passed away Thursday. He was 88.

Sutherland died in a Miami, Florida, hospital after an unspecified "long illness," his talent agency Creative Artists Agency told NBC News.

During his decades-long career, the Hollywood legend starred in numerous projects, including "The Dirty Dozen," "JFK," "Animal House," and "Pride & Prejudice."

In "The Hunger Games" franchise, Sutherland played the villainous Panem President Coriolanus Snow.

3. Taylor Wily

"Hawaii Five-0" star and former sumo wrestler Taylor Wily died Thursday, KITV and TV producer Peter Lenkov announced. He was 56.

A cause of death was not disclosed.

Also known as Teila Tuli, Wily played confidential informant Kamekona Tupuola on "Hawaii Five-0" from 2010 to 2020. He later reprised the role in the reboot of "Magnum P.I."

4. Ryan Hadley

"Ink Master" fans are mourning the death of Ryan Hadley, who died Thursday after battling seminoma cancer, a form of testicular cancer. He was 46.

Hadley's family announced the sad news via Instagram Friday, sharing that he was "surrounded by loved ones" when he died.

The tattoo artist, who appeared in Season 6 of the reality competition series, first announced his diagnosis in December 2023, telling fans he was undergoing chemotherapy.

5. Willie Mays

Baseball legend Willie Mays died at the age of 93 Tuesday.

Mays was living in an assisted living facility in California at the time of his passing, TMZ reported, citing the New York Giants.

The Hall of Famer ended his 23-season run in Major League Baseball with 660 home runs, 3,293 hits, and a .302 batting average.

6. Hiram Kasten

Comedian and "Seinfeld" actor Hiram Kasten died on June 16. He was 71.

Kasten battled Crohn's disease his entire life and other illnesses, including prostate cancer, for seven years before his passing, as stated in an obituary shared via his Facebook page.

He became pals with Jerry Seinfeld while doing stand-up at the Comic Strip Live in New York City and scored a supporting role in "Seinfeld" as Elaine Benes' co-worker Michael.

Kasten also appeared in other shows, including "Saved By the Bell," "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," "Curb Your Enthusiasm," and "Everybody Loves Raymond."

7. Evans Evans

"Bonnie and Clyde" actress Evans Evans passed away on June 16, according to a public obituary. She was 91.

The cause of death was not announced.

Evans was best known for her role as kidnap victim Velma Davis in the 1967 movie, but she also appeared in other film, TV, and Broadway projects.

She was in "The Donna Reed Show," "The Twilight Zone," "Gunsmoke," "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" and "Alfred Hitchcock Presents."

Evans was married to "The Manchurian Candidate" director John Frankenheimer from 1963 until 2002 when he died at age 72, the New York Post reported.

8. Sarah Becker


MTV's "The Real World" star Sarah Becker died by suicide. She was 52.

The exact date of Becker's death was not disclosed, but a family member told TMZ that she passed away earlier this week at her home in Illinois.

According to the outlet, Becker struggled with her mental health as she took care of family members and after she suffered a skateboarding accident in recent months.

Becker starred in "The Real World" Season 5, which was set in Miami in 1996, at 19.
