Angel Reese, G Herbo Spotted Together Around Chicago; Social Media Defends WNBA Rookie
Social media users weighed in on a recent alleged sighting of Angel Reese and G Herbo together in the rapper's vehicle.
On Monday, TikTok user @gifted_lips26 shared a video captioned, "Look at Angel Reese and G Herbo." In the video clip, the "Kill S**t" artist was seen in the driver's seat, and a woman, whom the uploader claimed to be the WNBA rookie, was seated in the passenger's seat.
She added in the comments that she also has "a video of them in Bevy last night."
The Shade Room also posted clips about the two personalities' sightings, saying, "...We cannot confirm if it was Angel riding shotgun. However, DJ #SeanMac did share that both Angel and Herb did stop through to partake in the vibes last night."
However, after seeing TSR's post, the DJ clarified that the two had not come to the trendy club together.
"LMAO. They never came together. They just happen[ed] to come to Bevy to kick it. (Number 1 [on] Sunday BTW). We Chicago [people] kick it. We show love to each other. She just had a great game and wanted to celebrate a win. Let me take this clip off my story because y'all hella messy (sic) and not about to tear up my mentions for no reason," he said, shedding light on the clip he previously shared.
"He ain't do s**t."
Social media users were quick to chime in and come to the WNBA player's defense.
"Angel is probably just cool with him. There's no way she would be at the top of her game trying to be with a man with four kids and 2 [baby mamas]," wrote one, defending the basketball player.
"[He's] showing her around the town. That's his cuzo (sic)," commented someone else.
"This [is] def innocent. This is normal Chicago behavior. Hospitality at its finest," said a different commenter.
"Herb [is] just showing her around the city. Don't do my boy like that," claimed another user.
"Why y'all assume they['re] messing around? Female celebrities can never have friends?" opined a fifth Instagram user.
Reese is originally from Randallstown, Maryland, but she moved to Chicago after being drafted by Chicago Sky into the Women's National Basketball Association in April.
Meanwhile, G Herbo -- real name Herbert Randall Wright III -- is a native of Chicago, Illinois.
