Spelling, 51, acknowledged that it was not the first time she had heard such a comparison.

"So a lot of people have written that comment, and I actually think Wendy Williams is very pretty," she said. "She hasn't been very kind to me in the past, but she is a pretty woman and I feel bad for her situation. But I feel like commenting on that, you'll never be able to unsee it."

Spelling's mention of Williams' situation refers to the recent concerns surrounding the television host's guardianship status, which has been a topic of public discussion and scrutiny.

Williams' best friend, Regina Schell, has spoke out about the red flags surrounding Williams' current status. She cites that it is incredibly strange that the social friend she knows and loves is being kept away from friends and family.

She shared with the 'U.S. Sun' how "Talking is Wendy's life, her whole claim to fame is talking, and I don't think she would be this quiet unless she was forced to be quiet. Where is Wendy and why is no one asking that question? And why is no one answering that question? Why can't they produce Wendy, or an actual statement from Wendy, or a picture of Wendy? Where is Wendy?"
