Boxing legend Roy Jones Jr. has announced the death of his son, DeAndre, by suicide.

He was 32.

The heartbreaking post was made by Jones Jr. via social media Monday, where he revealed his son took his own life last weekend. The knockout champ was able to spend time with Deandre before his death.

"Unfortunately, my son DeAndre took his life on Saturday. I'm so thankful that God allowed me to come home Friday night to spend the last night of his life with me and the family," the 55-year-old wrote via Instagram.

"I know a lot of people are going through tough times right now, but nothing is worth taking your own life. God gives it and God should be the one to take it away. Please respect our privacy while my family and I process this loss."

He concluded: "Thank you for the love and support."

"My condolences brotha [prayer hands]," 'Bad Boys: Ride or Die' star Martin Lawrence replied. "I was in a very similar situation when I was young and feel your pain and confusion. I couldn't agree with you more! Stay strong Champ!!" UFC champ Mike Swick wrote in the comments.

DeAndre was one of Jones' three children with wife Natlyn. He is survived by his siblings; Roy III and DeShaun.

Jones Jr. was a boxing champion who won in various weight classes ranging from lightweight to heavyweight. The decorated fighter earned 66 victories in his career of 29 years — 47 by knockout, per 'Sky News.'

In 2001, the Florida native launched a rap music career. He released his debut album, 'Round One: The Album' and the lead single, "Y'all Must've Forgot."
