According to 'TMZ,' the incident occurred around 9:30 AM. Witnesses at the scene reported that Tinsley, driving an Escalade, collided with a Corvette.
Police arrived promptly at the scene and, after a brief investigation, determined that Tinsley appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested on the spot and taken into custody. He was released one hour later after posting bail.
As of now, Tinsley, 60, has not publicly commented on the situation. The specific circumstances leading up to the crash, including whether Tinsley was alone in the vehicle and where he was headed, remain unclear.
Police have not released further details regarding his blood alcohol content or other factors that may have contributed to the accident.

This isn't Tinsley's first run-in with the law in the last few years.
According to the 'Daily Mail,' Tinsley was sued six years ago by his fellow band member James Frost-Winn. Frost-Winn alleged that Tinsley had sexually assaulted him while he was sleeping. Frost-Winn also accused the Virginia native of sexting him, suggesting that the younger musician "owed him" for his career. The two settled the matter out of court a year later.
In February 2022, Tinsley violated many clauses in the agreement via social media. Frost-Winn's team said the online posts were all a lie and two years later, he was sued again.
