Gunna Gets Called A ‘Rat’ On 2024 BET Awards Carpet: ‘Can’t Be In The City’
Rapper Gunna was rolled up on during the 2024 BET Awards and called a "rat" by an unnamed man.
On June 30, the rapper was in attendance at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles when he was approached by a man who goes by the name of @RuthlessRich on Twitter, now known as X, who candidly told him he "can't be in the city."
The viral clip — which has now been seen over 2.7 million times, shows Gunna standing alongside two women on the blue carpet in dark shades, a white vest, and glitzy pinstriped pants.

"Gunna Wunna, man," the man said, aggressively approaching the rapper. "You can't be in the city doing all that rattin' and s**t. Rat a*s ni**a," he added while walking actively past him.
"What?" One of the women responded sharply before beginning to walk in his direction at the end of the trending video clip. "Don't come to L.A.," RuthlessRich penned in the caption of his post, adding two rats and laughing emojis.
Fellow users on the social media outlet had a field day in the comments, with one creator writing: "The fact that it's the girl that is moving forward to get him is weird like what she gon' do but I love her courage."

"Post the rest, cause he was definitely fixing his mouth to cuss you out," a second fan defended. "Don't come to L.A. Bro corny as s**t," a third user responded.
This wouldn't be the first time the 'Drip Too Hard' rapper, born Sergio Giavanni Kitchens, has dealt with rumors of being a rat. The 31-year-old took a plea in the YSL RICO case back in December of 2022 and has been dealing with being called a snitch ever since.
Gunna was also confronted by a man calling him a rat while leaving the Palms Resort in Las Vegas, per 'XXL'.
