The Bachelor and Bachelor Pad star Gia Allemand was been declared brain dead Wednesday afternood, E! News confirmed.

The 29-year-old , who appeared on season 14 of the Bachelor reality series trying to find love, attempted suicide, which leading to critical loss of brain and organ function, Radar Online reported. TMZ learned she hanged herself. Her boyfriend, NBA basketball player Ryan Anderson of the New Orleans Pelicans, found her hanging and unconscious in her home and immediately called 9-1-1.

Anderson found Allemand in her house Monday night. She was on life support, which was reportedly withdrawn Wednesday. She had suffered "critical loss of brain and organ function." Her mom, boyfriend and other friends were in the hospital when she died.

Allemand has a younger brother, evident from a Instagram photo she uploaded of them together. Her last Twitter post was on Aug. 11. She wrote, "Proverbs 21:3 "Doing what is right and fair pleases The Lord more than an offering"

Her last Instagram post was 12 months ago, in which she wrote that her and her boyfriend were moving from Orlando, Fla., to their "new home" in New Orleans.

She uploaded the following Vine on July 12, poking fun at her boyfriend.
