Meghan Markle's estranged dad Thomas Markle Sr. is reportedly "saddened" her children are being "denied" their right to a royal life experience.

According to 'The New York Post,' the retired TV lighting director has expressed his interest in meeting with his grandchildren, but reportedly hasn't gotten a response from the Sussex camp.

Last month's Trooping the Colour Ceremony was the reported last straw for Thomas when Meghan and Prince Harry reportedly failed to receive an invitation to the event — which takes place in June on a Saturday, performed by his majesty's personal troops of the Household Division on Horse Guards Parade.

"It struck me as very sad that Meghan and Harry's kids are being denied the right to know their cousins, who look like fantastic children, or take part in things like Trooping the Colour, which is their birthright," Thomas stated, per 'The Post.' "They are getting to the age where they will start to ask questions, as all kids do. I find myself wondering how Archie and Lilbet will feel in a few years' time when they realize all the things they have missed out on."

Thomas also expressed his concern regarding his inability to meet his two grandkids or join them for their birthdays.
