During a recent tell-all interview, the sister of Nicki Minaj revealed the details of her estranged relationship with the superstar.

Ming Li — who is Minaj's half-sister sharing the same father — appeared on 'We In Miami' podcast, where she detailed her own inspirations, music career, dating, and her experience with the mega rap icon.

Ming, known as Ming Maraj, claimed she was bullied in school over her claims that the "Pink Friday" rapper was her sister, as classmates antagonized her about why she never helped her. She also admitted that she often grew up with the "urge" to impress Nicki because nobody else mattered.

"I never needed her to get to my goal. I just needed her to see that I can do it... and she can be proud of me without having to think that I needed to have an easy way to get to the top," Ming, 18, told podcast hosts.

When asked about her current relationship with her 41-year-old sister, Ming claimed they were never close because she was "always busy."

"Even though people do think that we are not cool... we're gonna' argue, I'm not gonna lie," she explained. "But this is nothing new, like siblings [are] gonna fight." When the hosts asked what they fight about, the young rapper exclaimed, "Ming is just Ming, bro... respectfully! I be getting everyone tight."

Overall, Ming claims the animated Young Money queen was a good sister who checked on her and her dad from time to time, and always made sure that they were "good situated."

"It doesn't matter if she was distanced or not, she was still being there, still making sure we was all good. I don't have no hate towards her, and if people think that I do — that's y'all problem not mine."

The 18-year-old went on to explain that that Nicki has given her warnings about the industry in an effort to protect her.

"My sister always wanted to let me know like, people are really dirty in the music industry," she explained. "No matter how much we argue, fight... it got nothing to do with anyone else, but us. We still gonna be family at the end of the day."
