Beyoncé's Mother Tina Takes A Dig At Ex-Husband Before Revealing The Pop Star Has Eczema
Beyoncé's mother took a dig at her ex-husband Mathew Knowles while promoting the pop star's newly released haircare brand Cécred.
Tina Knowles was seen in a video clip showcasing the line's clarifying shampoo and scalp scrub on a model when she revealed the purpose and inspiration behind the product's formula.
While applying the product, Ms. Tina explained that the scrub was developed especially for the "Cowboy Carter" star as she regularly struggled with eczema — a condition that causes "dry, itchy, and inflamed skin," according to the Mayo Clinic — since childhood.
"The scalp scrub was developed for Beyoncé because she has eczema," the 70-year-old revealed in a video clip obtained by 'The Daily Mail.' "She's had it since she was a little kid. She got it from her dad — not from me," she stated matter-of-factly.
Tina and her ex-husband, Mathew, tied the knot back in 1980 and share two children together; Beyoncé, 42, and Solange, 38. Her little sister is known for her iconic influential album, "A Seat At The Table," encouraging unity and Black joy to her audience.

Mathew and Tina separated back in 2009 after Tina filed for divorce amid news he fathered a child named Nixon with actress Alexsandra Wright outside of their marriage. Nixon was born in February 2010.
In 2023, 'Marca' reported that Beyonce's half brother Nixon was living in a trailer after the single mother filed for bankruptcy, stating that the 'Texas Hold Em' star lived within miles of their residence. Wright claimed there was no contact whatsoever.
Wright admits she didn't feel guilty at all about sleeping with a married man, citing the Knowles family's broken dynamic. "I was not conflicted about the situation, because his marriage was not a functioning marriage," she insisted, per 'The New York Post.'
"Nixon has never had the luxury of being a normal child. Being related to someone famous smothers kids like him, and they lose their identity," she stated per the news outlet.
Cécred was developed by the Houston songstress over the course of six years, providing hair care solutions for all hair textures.
