It seems rapper Lil Mama was less than pleased with the outcome of the 2024 BET Awards.

According to 'XXL', the "Lip Gloss" rapper blames Nicki Minaj for influencing a generation of "musical prostitutes" after the award show aired Sunday — which has since received criticism on social media due to its lack of decorum and musicality.

Rapper and activist Dee-1 took to Instagram to voice his opinion on the controversial show, penning the sarcastic caption: "Culture's biggest night. [Confused face emoji] [dizzy emoji]. Watch till the end."

The clip posted by the Louisiana rapper showed a montage of performances by Sexyy Red, Latto, Ice Spice, and Megan Thee Stallion, all flaunting scantily clad outfits and explicit lyrics.

"I turned on the award show and things I seen on the screen could make me cause of scene 'cause it was so obscene," he rapped over the racy video clips. "We call women queens but we celebrate the prostitution of their bodies, I seen people thanking God but none of their music was godly."

Lil Mama replied in the comment section of the post: "Then gave Nicki an award for leading this pack. Corporate 'BARS' be going over our head. They laughing at us for sure!"

"Key word... THIS Pack. These young women are not influenced by. Kim. Nicki is influenced by Kim. These women are 23. What major musical prostitutes do you remember from the last 15 years. Who do you think they watched corporate give a platform and flowers for sitting out. Be forreal. Like I said they are laughing at us and the award was a 'thanks to you, now we have 7,8, 9 of em'," Lil Mama continued.

When some Instagram users gave the 34-year-old rapper and self-proclaimed "voice of the young people" pushback, she didn't back down.

"It's all love, God Is the Greatest and these women are gonna wake up and realize that they are worth more than any price tag. Sometimes we can't see ourselves. We are just living...so I can understand how this can happen and feel normal," she explained.

The Black entertainment award show has received more backlash this year than ever before, as viewers cited the lack of musical talent, outrage over O.J. Simspon's memorial segment, and unwanted political interjection by host Taraji P. Henson and Vice President Kamala Harris.
