It seems the inflated beef between legendary rappers Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur brought the late Brooklyn rapper to tears.

According to Lance "Un" Rivera — a well-connected film producer, screenwriter, record producer, and music executive — the "Who Shot Ya" rapper was was stunned after Shakur's release of 'Hit 'Em Up' — one of hip hop's most popular diss tracks in rap.

"He [Tupac] came home and at that moment in time, B.I.G. was the biggest rapper on the planet," Rivera explained. "He was huge — I'm talking about he was on fire."

"So we had this hit record called "Get Money" and we had a remix to it and all of a sudden, 'Pac comes home and we're at a video shoot and somebody plays 'Hit 'Em Up' for us... and we all looked at each other like, 'What the f**k just happened?'" Rivera told 'VLADTv.'

"I'm ready to go to war, I wanted to shoot a video the next day, make a song the next day, and make one of those videos targeting Suge and Death Row and B.I.G. was like, 'Naa. We're not gonna do anything. We're not gonna' even respond.' "

When host Vlad asked the music exec about B.I.G. 's reaction to the diss track, Rivera agreed the rapper did in fact become teary-eyed due to the infamous opening line of song.

In 2017, Rivera interviewed with DJ Self when he claimed Biggie, real name Christopher George Latore Wallace, "cried like a baby" after hearing the track. "I was in the room when he heard Faith and 2Pac," he began. "He cried like a baby," the exec confirmed.

The opening line in question starts with Pac claiming he had relations with Biggie's wife of three years, Faith Evans — who was signed to Sean "Diddy" Combs' label, Bad Boy Records, in 1994. Evans, who was known as the "First Lady of Bad Boy," shares one child with the late rapper, Christopher Jordan "C.J" Wallace, 27.

Uncle Luke recently held Drake accountable for inserting himself into the squabble that took place at Rick Ross' show in Canada, claiming he "knows how this ends," citing the beef between Tupac and Notorious B.I.G.

Both trailblazing rappers died from gunshot wounds at the age of 26 within six months of each other.
