Azealia Banks is shutting down speculation that she was evicted from her Florida home.

The rapper's landlord and a third party accused her of owing $8000 in back rent. Banks, 33, took to social media to respond to the lawsuit, calling it "a lie."

"I've always paid my rent," she wrote on her Instagram Story. "I'm not a gazillionaire but surely Azealia Banks has $8,000."

The story was released with documents which supported the legitimacy of the rumor. According to 'Uproxx,' the documents are being examined by the Miami-Dade County clerk's office.

Through a series of Instagram Stories, the singer-songwriter claims that the landlord is manipulating the situation in order to extort funds from her.

"You girls really have to understand how to at least read a legal document," she wrote online. After each picture of the documentation from her landlord, she quipped with her side of the story.

"The landlord is basically asking the judge if it's okay to not respond to a single one of the 30 counterclaims (lol) and asking for me to 'Pay into the registry of court' right after filing a motion for 'extension of time.' After I've filed a motion to properly determine the cost of this s***hole because its def not worth ANYWHERE NEAR what these clowns are making up every other month," she argued. "This process can literally go on for several years.....And a tenant really has free reign to do absolutely nothing in the time being."
