Jon Stewart Roasts Joe Biden's Presidential Campaign During 'Daily Show' Rant: 'Can't We Stress Test' Biden?
Jon Stewart is calling for voters to be open-minded about a discussion regarding President Joe Biden's continuation in his race for reelection.
After President Biden's reported less than successful appearance debate against Donald Trump in late June, many have been calling concern to his fitness to run for reelection. Many, however, especially those on Biden's team, are criticizing those who try to bring any question of his eligibility to light.
According to 'Variety,' Stewart spoke openly on his late night talk show, 'The Daily Show,' about the conversation surrounding President Biden. He did not directly demand Biden, 81, to drop out of the race, but he instead encouraged Americans to have the conversation.

"I am in no way saying Biden's gotta drop out, but can't we stress test this candidacy? Can't we open up the conversation? Do you understand the opportunity here," he asked. "Do you have any idea how thirsty Americans are for any hint of inspiration or leadership and a release from this choice of a megalomaniac and a suffocating gerontocracy? It is crushing our f*****g spirits. Do you have any idea what could be ahead of you? All we want is for someone to keep it 100. The percentage, not the age."
In his discussion of the debate, Stewart, 61, pointed out that for a campaign who finds its foundation in promises of honesty and justice, the response following the debate has been seemingly "b*******." Many have come out crediting President Biden's poor performance to various reasons including a cold, a stutter, and travel between time zones.
Furthermore, many Democrats have lamented that there would not be enough time to find and promote an eligible candidate by the time the election rolls around in November.

"Four months is f*****g forever. Britain just held an election in two months. France had two in one month, defeated fascism and still had time to have an affair with Denmark. Are you telling me, you sons of b*****s, are you coming to my house and saying to my face that the United States of Bruce Springsteen's America can't hold an election better than the f*****g French? Is that what you're telling me? There are contestants on 'The Bachelor' who haven't even met yet who will get married and divorced between now and the election," Stewart ranted.
