Steve Harvey Reveals How Kardashians Treated 'Family Feud' Production: 'That Was A Huge'
Steve Harvey has nothing but praise for some of "Celebrity Family Feud's" most memorable guests: the Kardashians.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the TV host, 67, took a walk down memory lane ahead of the Tuesday premiere of "Celebrity Family Feud" Season 10, which marks the game show's 10th anniversary and includes its milestone 100th episode.
While discussing memorable guests, Harvey recalled how "nice" the Kardashians were to "Celebrity Family Feud's" production crew when they taped an episode of the show in 2018.
"That was a huge," the game show host said of the family's visit. "It's so many when they travel."
In the June 2018 episode, "The Kardashians vs. The West Family," Kim Kardashian and then-husband Kanye West formed a team with three of the rapper's cousins.
They faced off against a group made up of Kris Jenner, her daughters Khloé Kardashian and Kendall Jenner, her mom Mary Jo Campbell, her cousin Cici Bussey, and their family friend Jonathan Cheban.
"All of the Kardashian girls are real sweethearts, they're really, really nice people," Harvey shared, adding that they were "professionals" throughout the whole taping.
"To the staff and to the PAs and all the people there to help, they're very good," he added.
Harvey recalled that the Kardashian sisters were not only nice to the crew but were also "very kind about what they want to say to each other."
But while Harvey only had happy memories of that taping, there was some drama in the Kardashian-Jenner household over their "Celebrity Family Feud" appearance.
In a 2018 episode of their now-defunct reality series "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," Kourtney Kardashian made it clear that she had no interest in playing the game.
"This is your one life to walk this planet. Do you really want to spend your Saturday at 'Family Feud'?" Kourtney said, as quoted by E! News.
"Guess what we would be doing on a Saturday? All separated," Khloé responded. "But now we're gonna be on a Saturday all together, building a memory."
Team Kardashian also faced a dilemma as they had to choose a fifth member between grandma MJ and Kim's best friend Jonathan.
Khloé complained about Jonathan's addition, but Kim was reluctant to leave out her pal after inviting him as a last-minute addition.
"I love my grandma obviously and in a perfect world, she should be on the team, for sure," Kim said in a confessional. "But how do I break the news to Jonathan that he's not gonna play when he just got on the plane at the drop of a dime? I wouldn't waste someone's time like that."
Harvey ultimately allowed team Kardashian to have six players, giving both Jonathan and MJ the chance to play.
The "Celebrity Family Feud" episode ended with team Kardashian's victory and team West's loss -- something Kim blamed on her then-husband's cousins.
"Celebrity Family Feud" Season 10 premiered Tuesday night on ABC.
